1. Choose the knowledge you need
When we want to improve something, we often look for resources on the internet. The good news is that there are plenty of resources. The bad news is we don't know what's useful. The Clickbaity content can often tell you the things that you already know or that you don't need.

It is easy to get lost in this resource pool. That is why it is important that you know exactly what you need. If you are as specific as possible, unnecessary resources will be sorted out.

Also, choosing a niche (self help, health, technology, etc.) will narrow results down so that you get exactly the knowledge you need. 3. Familiarize yourself with mistakes
When you are ready to step out of your comfort zone, you need to be comfortable with failure. When we try new things, we usually fear failure. This fear of failure prevents us from giving our 100%, which in turn increases our chances of failure.

Failure often leaves you in a confused state of mind, which is perfectly normal. But in this state of confusion, we overlook the data that we can access now to make better decisions next time. Failure isn't bad, it's the best teacher you will ever find.

4. Circadian rhythm
A circadian rhythm is a natural, internal process that regulates the sleep-wake cycle and repeats itself approximately every 24 hours.

If you want to change your life, you need to know how your energy levels change throughout the day. What you like to do and not do at certain times of the day is the first step towards productivity.

Make a schedule to follow, not the one that looks good on paper. Why get up at 4 a.m. and work out when you can do your best at 7 p.m. in the gym? You don't have to follow someone else's schedule just because they're famous. You need to create one that's tailored to you and modify it over time.

5. Don't work, PLAY
Being tough on yourself is going to be of little use to you. If you don't find happiness in what you do, you get bored of it quickly.

Create the schedule that looks ideal for you, mix it up with your current schedule and that is the schedule you should tackle in the early stages. Basically, you choose a small swimming pool first and then a large one.

Also, take a break if you feel like you are burning out. You can always change gears and increase the pace, but if by heart you feel like you need to cool down, go for it. Remember, you are trying to improve, not trying to sell insurance.

6. Divide and conquer
Each of us has good ideas, each of us knows what to do. We also know that certain things can actually shape our lives. However, when it comes down to taking action, we quickly seek out instant rewards.

Unfortunately, that doesn't work, but you can hack your way around by breaking an action into small sub-actions. For example, if you want to write a 2000 page article, writing 100 pages twice a day will get the job done in 10 days without overwhelming yourself. Make the actions small enough that it doesn't feel like work, but remember that there is no substitute for doing it.
